Professional Training and Expertise
My professional training is extensive and diverse. I have trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy at The Gestalt Centre in London, Systemic Family Therapy at King’s College London, Gender Sexuality and Society at Birkbeck University, Therapeutic Play and Clinical Supervision with PTUK, Trauma-Informed CBT, and I hold certifications in Autism Awareness L2, National Autism Training Programme (Anna Freud & NHS), Video Interaction Guidance (VIG), and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP-Level 1). This broad spectrum of training equips me with a versatile toolkit to address various psychological needs.
Clinical Experience
Over the years, I have amassed a wealth of experience working in various community settings and renowned organizations such as Family Action, The Children’s Society, and Mind. Between 2011 and 2020, I played a pivotal role at Place2Be, one of the leading mental health charities supporting children’s mental health. My roles there ranged from managing school-based mental health services to leading and teaching on the MA Counselling Children in Schools (UEL validated). Previously, I served as a Clinical Supervisor in Hackney Social Care-Children and Families, where I provided guidance and support to teams working with looked-after children and families. I currently work as a Specialist Psychotherapist at the National Autism Unit in London (NHS), where I provide support tailored to individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
Private Practice
In my private practice, I continue to support families, people in all kinds of relationships, and parents aiming to improve their relationships, as well as families referred by local authorities and organizations. My expertise extends to facilitating personal development and healing of traumatic blockages using a relational approach that uniquely integrates attachment theory, neuroscience, systemic practice, intersectionality, and creative therapy.
Teaching and Supervision
I am also an Associate Lecturer at Open University within the School of Psychology and Counselling. Additionally, I work as an independent supervisor, trainer, and workshop leader, sharing my extensive knowledge and experience with a broader audience.

Approach to Therapy
My therapeutic approach is rooted in my understanding of how life stressors, social and economic inequalities, and developmental trauma contribute to mental health difficulties. I adopt a systemic and intersectional approach, recognizing that individuals cannot be understood in isolation. By supporting individuals with the community in mind, I believe significant positive change can be achieved. My personal and professional experiences of solo parenting, neurodivergence, and queer relationships have shaped an empathetic, down-to-earth approach combined with clinical robustness. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to empowering individuals and families while fostering connections within their chosen communities.
